​HOST A DIAPER DRIVE

Diaper drives are the largest source of diaper donations to the Austin Diaper Bank

A diaper drive is like a food drive, only with diapers – individuals bring diaper donations to a specific location hosting a drive, which could be a doorstep, school, church, workplace or even a social event, such as a baby shower or birthday party. The diaper drive can be any length of time, depending on the volunteer and location.

​How to Host a Diaper Drive

  • Get permission from school, church, business or other venue.
  • Work with the organization to set the date(s) for the drive.
  • Promote the diaper drive with posters, flyers, letters, emails, social media, etc. – whatever communication works best for your organization.
  • Collect the diapers
  • Celebrate your success on your social media, and let us feature you on our social media as well. Please tag us (@AustinDiaperBank on Facebook and Instagram, @AustinDiapers on Twitter) when possible and use #diaperneed or #diaperon hashtags.
